In response to cyber-criminals stepping up their attacks, healthcare industry IT departments are bolstering their budgets. A recent survey by Healthcare Informatics noted that not one health system expected their budgets to decrease. In fact, half the respondents expect an increase in spending of 5% or more over the next 12 months.
Hosted by CMS's Information Security Privacy Group (ISPG), CMS CyberWorks: Cybersecurity & Privacy Day is the perfect chance to demo your product or service to healthcare leadership. This year's theme is "Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection that Inspires, Innovates, and Illustrates."
This year's virtual CyberWorks will include breakout sessions and a video training library consisting of content geared toward all CMS cyber professionals and other employees with significant security responsibilities (SSR's). In 2019, over 500 attendees participated in person, and we expect even more in the virtual format!

We are now accepting speaking proposals for this event. Abstracts will be evaluated by the event sponsor and should be relevant to the requested topic. You may submit more than one abstract.CMS will vet all abstracts and will choose a select few to have the opportunity to be included on the event agenda. If your abstract is selected, you can upgrade your sponsorship to include the session sponsorship.
