Welcomes You to the 2024 DoD Phoenix Challenge

The Department of Defense is sponsoring the 2024 DoD Global Information Conference. This annual event is for leaders and other professionals from within the Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) community, to provide a unique opportunity for experts to jointly address the successes, gaps, needs, and opportunities for OIE. The conference will assist the Principal Information Operations Advisor to the Secretary of Defense in the oversight of policy, strategy, planning, resource management, operational considerations, personnel, and technology development across all elements of the DoD’s OIE.

The theme for this DoD Global Information Conference is “Forging the Future: From Strategy to Action”, where we will explore current efforts and future possibilities aligned to four lines of effort (People & Organizations – Programs – Policies & Governance – Partnerships).

We welcome attendance and participation from information professionals across DoD, the U.S.G., industry, academia, Allies, and partners. If you require an attendance justification please contact us.

About OIOP

The Office of Information Operations Policy (OIOP), under the authority of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, supports the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, in their capacity as the Principal Staff Assistant and Principal Information Operations Advisor to the Secretary of Defense. In support of USD(P), and pursuant to 10 U.S.C. §397, OIOP provides oversight of policy, strategy, planning, resource management, operational considerations, personnel, and technology development across all the elements of OIE of the Department.
