Anita has over 31 years of government contracting experience. She started her career at the United States Department of Agriculture, where for 15 years she served as a Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer. She then continued her service at the Social Security Administration for 4 years as a Contracting Officer. For the last 12 years, Anita has been the Small Business Specialist at the Department of Health and Human Services. Since 2007, she has supported the Program Support Center, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the Health Resources and Services Administration. Currently, she serves as the Small Business Specialist for CMS and the National Institutes of Health's National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI).
