Government Procurement Conference (GPC) Virtual Industry Day

Welcome

Welcome to the Government Procurement Conference (GPC) Virtual Industry Day website.

On May 24, 2021, SAM.gov and beta.SAM.gov will merge and there will be only one SAM.gov remaining (the "beta" will go away). Come learn everything you need to know about the integration of these two systems and what you need to do to prepare for a SAM.gov that will have more functionality than registering to do business with the federal government.

Please save the date for April 29th at 2:00PM EDT. This is a special invitation for GPC members.

The Government Procurement Conference (GPC) is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its prime contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses. Now in its 31st year, the Government Procurement Conference has become the premier event for small businesses throughout the United States.

Due to the gathering restrictions of the Covid pandemic, FBC is hosting a Virtual Industry Day in conjunction with the GPC, which will include educational conference sessions from Government Agencies and their Prime Contractors as well as Procurement Matchmaking. Government agencies will conduct their own session rooms virtually to discuss upcoming procurements and how to do business with their agency. Prime Contractors will discuss their current and upcoming subcontracting opportunities as well as how to do business with their firms.

In addition to the educational seminars, GPC will offer its special brand of Matchmaking which accurately matches the requirements of Government Agencies and Prime contractors with Small Business Firms looking to do business with the Government. Procurement Matchmaking will be offered as a value-added opportunity to meet with buyers in special, pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with participating buyers during the conference. This portion of the event is limited in availability and is offered to small business participants registered for the overall conference on a first-come, first-served basis. Procurement Matchmaking "matches" small company "sellers" with participating "buyers" represented by government agencies and large business prime contractors. These buyers and sellers will convene for a series of one-on-one meetings that will occur throughout the event in virtual meeting rooms
